Eri "Peace" Silk Scarf
This Eri silk scarf is printed with Eucalyptus parvula and has a matte finish with a beautiful drape. The ends are fringed, and the size is generous enough to allow it to be used as a wrap if desired.
Eri silk is known as "peace silk", or "ahimsa", because it is harvested only after the moths emerge from their cocoons, making the process cruelty free. The silk is then spun and handwoven on a traditional loom with incredible skill and attention to detail. These are made by a single family in India who are preserving this ancestral skill, and they are sourced with ethical trade.
